WHY IS MY CAR'S AC BLOWING HOT AIR?

WHY IS MY CAR'S AC BLOWING HOT AIR?

Thinking about your car's air conditioning system is like a big puzzle, and one piece of that puzzle is a blend door actuator. This small but very important part that controls how warm or cool the air is that comes out of your car's vents.

When you're in the car on a hot day and you want cool air. The blend door actuator moves a door inside the air system. When you want cold air, the blend door actuator makes sure the door lets the cold air from the air conditioner into the car.

On colder days, when you want warm air, the blend door actuator moves the door to let warm air from the heater into the car. So, It controls the temperature you want inside your car, whether it's toasty warm or refreshingly cool.

{Here is a test from a car that was blowing hot 97.2* on one side and 57.9* on the other side at the same time because the blend door actuator door was bad.}

Just like a remote control moves your TV channels, the blend door actuator moves the temperature in your car. It's a bit like magic, making your car rides comfy no matter the weather outside!

A good Inspection is always recommended to get the proper estimate for a great result for a AC system!
